In one of the concerts promoting young talents, Braunschweig Theatre Orchestra will host a young soloist Sophie Pacini. The promising pianist will perform Liszt’s Concerto no.1 E-flat major known for its subtle and demanding playing techniqe. Srba Dinic, a former soloist, now a conductor, will frame this piece which took Listz more than 20 years to complete.
In the second part of the concert the orchestra will take the audience through the celebrated Wagner’s Ring of the Nibelungs. This orchestral piece reflects the motives from the four operas comprising the cycle. It can be a good introduction to all those wishing to go further in Wagner’s music, and Srba Dinic and the Theatre Orchestra with their virtuoso performance and nuanced sound will show the audience how the famous Ring story can be told without words.
