Srba Dinic and the Mexican Philharmonic Orchestra continue to work together. During the second week of their rehearsals a new symphony concert is being prepared. The opening act of the program shall be Ludwig van Beethoven’s Egmont Overture Op.84. The program is also to include symphonic piece Cumbres composed in 1940 by José Pablo Moncayo(1912-1958), a prominent Mexican composer and conductor, who convincingly demonstrated the essence of national aspirations and contradictions of the Mexican Society of XX century. The concert will continue with the well-known Symphony No. 3, F major, Op.90 by Johannes Brahms. Brahms’s Symphony No. 3 is often considered as “more close to perfection artistically” than any other. This led to its wide use by artists all over the world, including movie scenes, TV shows and popular music. The audience will have the opportunity to hear this concert program in two separate terms.
